Jazz Reading

OK! Here’s the scoop! You should be using the green Jazz Reading sheets now, and for the near future. Please fill in DAILY reading times – 20 minutes per day is the minimum goal and also the daily homework for Kindergarteners. That 20 minutes (or more – we have some that do 100 or more on a given day) can be the child reading OR the child being read to OR a combination of both. Please send the filled sheet on THURSDAY so that they can be tallied and the children can know if they get the weekly reward (free dress day, etc.) on the following day (Friday). New sheets (different color) will then be given out on Thursdays to start keeping track of another week.

SO…please send in the green sheets filled up on Thursday. I will send a new one home for you at that time. If you forget, send them on Friday. Late sheets will not be counted toward the weekly goals and totals, but they will be included in the final tally.

We are going for 100% participation on this, please assist your child to READ and record. Let’s go Kindergarten!!!!!
